Head Chef
1. Role
The Head Chef is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency in the kitchen. This includes overseeing the preparation, presentation, and speed of dishes at the pass. The Head Chef collaborates closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, seasonal updates, and new recipe creation, including drafting recipe cards, implementing menu changes, and conducting team training. Participation in research and development sessions is a key aspect of the role.
The position also entails maintaining strict hygiene standards, managing food and beverage costs to meet monthly budget targets, and controlling kitchen staffing costs. The Head Chef will be responsible for creating team schedules and ensuring the proper care and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
2. Offer
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a highly competitive salary. The Head Chef will enjoy two consecutive days off per week, 28 days of paid holiday annually, and access to a pension scheme.
