1. Definitions

  • “Relevant Person”: Any employee, temporary worker, contractor, or consultant acting on behalf of the Company.

This policy:

  • Ensures compliance with UK and international anti-bribery laws.
  • Promotes vigilance against bribery.

  • Applies to all employees, contractors, and consultants.

4. The Bribery Act 2010

Under this act, it is illegal to:

  1. Offer or give a bribe.
  2. Receive or request a bribe.
  3. Bribe a foreign official.
  4. Fail to prevent bribery.

5. Risks of Bribery

Bribery can result in:

  • Unlimited fines.
  • Imprisonment (up to 10 years).
  • Reputational damage.
